Description of the device
The Thyristor Rectifier Control Device available in two versions: RC-S is to control one group of thyristors (non-reversible rectifier), RC-D is to control two groups of thyristors (reversible rectifier).
The models, RC-SL and RC-DL are designed for work in converters with output voltages 6, 12, 24 and 48 volts, using of power step-down transformer connected between power supply and rectifier bridge. For work in converters with higher output voltages, it is necessary to use control units, RC-SH and RC-DH, with galvanic isolation module of the output voltage/current sensor. Device is designed as form of block in a sealed plastic box, and allow to operate in wet and aggressive conditions of galvanic facilities.
All external connections of unit are demountable and do not require soldering, which make installation more simple and reduce time of the device commissioning.
Device has a protection system with an indication on the external connected LED indicators. When protection is activated, corresponding digital output switches on which can also be used to monitor the status of the rectifier by the control device of the upper rank.

It is also possible to connect a remote control: analog or digital via the interface RS-485 - as well as to build a network of the isolated interface RS-485 for controlling and monitoring the rectifiers group.
